The KSEA scholarships are for recognizing outstanding students with Korean heritage who have excelled in academics and extracurricular activities including community services, and who demonstrate potential for becoming leaders in society. The goals of the KSEA include contributing to the industrial development in the US and Korea through the promotion of science and engineering, promoting cooperation between the US and Korea in science, engineering, and technology, promoting and cultivating the next generation of Korean-American scientists and engineers, and contributing to the Korean Community in the US.
Applicants must be undergraduate students in the US of Korean heritage with a minimum of 2 semesters completed as a college student at the time of application. Applicants must also be members of the KSEA and be majoring in science, engineering, or any related fields. Recipients must have a student status when the scholarship is awarded.
