Students are placed at several of the U.S. Department of Energy facilities. The internship provides students with science and engineering experience. Each participant will be required to submit a research paper or power point presentation and a research abstract. The Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program encourages undergraduate students to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers by providing research experiences at the Department of Energy (DOE) laboratories.
Applicants must be undergraduates having completed at least one semester, be 18 years or older, and be U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA and be majoring any branch of science, math, engineering, or technology.
