Chris is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at BYU, double majoring in Psychology and Political Science. As an undergraduate Chris received an ORCA grant, conducted, presented, and published his research. Especially influential on his undergraduate career was the opportunity to research and publish with Dawson Hedges and Mark Allen. In addition to the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, Chris has also been awarded the Stanford Graduate Fellowship, which is the highest honor Stanford can give an incoming graduate student. He plans to continue his education by completing the PhD program at Stanford Medical School and obtain university professorship with teaching and research responsibilities.
